Participants will learn to write, practice and perform original spoken word poetry. Suitable for either English or Drama classes we explore the process of generating original ideas, finessing our work and delivering confidently.

Participants will improve their oracy skills and learn a range of literary techniques. These sessions also work well in PSHCE classes using themes such as mental health, environmental justice and crime as writing stimulus.

Maximum group size - 30
Age range - 11-18
Duration - Works best as 8 X 2 hour weekly sessions. 1 X full day session is also possible.
